Privacy Image Tools: Cover Sensitive Details
Hide faces, addresses, order numbers, ID details, screenshots, and other sensitive areas before you share an image. SizeCraft gives you movable privacy layers that can be resized in the preview, then exported locally from the browser.
Choose the right kind of cover
Use an adjustable mosaic when you want the underlying area to remain visibly obscured without adding a decorative object. Use an emoji, animal, cartoon-style sticker, or your own uploaded sticker when a stronger visual cover is easier to review. Each cover is a separate layer, so multiple faces or fields can be covered independently.
The editor keeps the working image in the browser. You can move a cover directly in the preview, resize it from its handle, select another layer, or delete the selected cover. Before sharing, zoom in and inspect every corner of the original image; a cover that is slightly too small can leave a name, number, or face visible.
A safe review routine
- Identify every sensitive region.
Look for faces, IDs, addresses, QR codes, notification previews, document numbers, and reflections. - Add a separate cover to each region.
Do not rely on one large sticker when it would hide unrelated context or leave another sensitive area exposed. - Resize with overlap.
Make the cover slightly larger than the target detail, especially when the image may be downscaled after export. - Open the exported file.
Check the downloaded file at 100% and again at the size where it will be posted. Do not share the original by mistake.

Common questions
Is a sticker enough to protect private information?
Only if it fully covers the detail in the exported file. Always review the exported image rather than assuming the preview or an emoji has covered every pixel.
Can I cover more than one area?
Yes. Add multiple privacy covers, select each one in the preview, and position or resize them independently. The normal Download image control includes the privacy layers.
